I was sitting in my underwear feeling a trifle too patriotic. I was getting the feeling that nothing exciting happens out there any more. Then I realised that, there are a lot of interesting things happening that people just happen to overlook. Hell, we have been overlooking since the birth of our nation.

– Buangkok MRT still not opened

– No fucking jobs

– World’s most cleanest country can have Dengue Fever

– Still no fucking jobs

– NKF is savings box for rich executives

– Still no fucking jobs but pretend those toilet cleaner jobs can boost economy.

– GST might become 100 %. Imagine paying $8 bucks for a $4 meal in MacDonald’s.

– Freedom my ass

– People get retrenched or have to do two job to make ends meet (day time do one job, night time drive taxi). Most lame senior citizens will bitch about how the youngsters should get a Govt’ job. Hell if the whole nation is working for the government, who’s gonna make money and boost economy?

– ERP charges rise and the hours are longer now. Might as well make it 24hrs. That way they only have to increase the charges every year or so.

– Medishield prices go up.

– Pubic transport fare of bus and train fare go up. This is why Singapore roads getting more car, thus needing more demad for petrol and thus the price always increasing. Which leads to the next problem below.

– Petrol price increase. They will start bitching about Iraq and Hurricane Katrina.

– Cannot conveniently forget to pay in buses thanks to EzLink.

– People living in HDB flats need to re-in force their windows with new rivets. Con artists get their license to cheat people using HDB names. I think its a ploy to revive manufacturing industry without a need to dig into state funds. Come up with a lame concept fo a need to fix all windows and people will pay. Or they go to jail.

– The upper class become deluxe class

– The middle class become the lower class

– The lower class become no class

– No holiday because no chance for vote the President.

– Housing prices drop. $100,000 also cannot sell, sell already lose money. The vicious cycle doesn’t stop.

– Study so hard , No jobs, Forced to study more, ridden with debts due to study, Still no jobs, take up lame jobs to pay loans. Why study? Educational hub my ass.

– After all the shit, the good jobs taken by bastards called EXPATS. Just basically rejects in their own shit hole who crawl all the way here and work for shit + $1.

– $600,000 is considered peanuts. Even so when its Tax payers money.

– Singaporeans are too fussy they say, when we turn down $800 jobs, but that bastard EXPAT getting a 10K salary with company shares. Its not that he’s godd. Its just that he’s foreigner and is most case can speak english with white accent. Hell, beggers in London and New york also beg in high class english. Might as well emply them and give them a fat paycheck.

Gone are the good days when life was easy. Now you dont get a job. You study, you don’t get a good job. Then when u get a job, you take all your money and give it all back to them. Its tragic folks.

I was reading off the newsgroups and movie news portals yesterday. I am an avid Rajinikanth fan, having seen his flicks all the way from the 80s. I never leave a chance to read more about Rajini.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found news about Rajini’s next mega venture, Shivaji. But my surprise turned sour too soon when I found a tragic news. I would like to share it with all fans. The movie’s heroine is gonna be a gal called Shreya. Some actress probably from Telugu Desam. This is one of the biggest mismatch ever. Poor casting there by the director.

But hey I aint the director and so I can’t do much. On a lighter note I also got wind of the story for the movie. Now folks, this is just a 80% confirmed rumor. As always there might be changes.

Shivaji is an Indian who’s residing abroad. He’s a celebrated educationalist. His passion is to offer world class education free to all in India. He invests all his personal wealth in creating high standard educational institutions in India. Corruption is a great hurdle in executing his plans. After surmounting all this and nearing the realization of his dreams, rival education institutions try to influence the govt to block Shivaji’s progress, but to no avail At that time, the opposition topples the govt.

This new govt orders Shivaji’s institutions to be razed to the ground. Shivaji has lost all his wealth in his ventures to realize his dreams, and how he single handedly fights the opposition is the climax of the film.

There are many story lines for Rajini’s film ‘Shivaji’ and what you have read now is only one of them. Kodambakkam believes that this is the storyline for which director Shankar is preparing his screenplay.

I heard yesterday that E-Cai is turning 1 this year OCT 22. According to the chinese calendar, it turned one yesterday. I would like to take this time to wish it a very happy belated birthday.

About a year and a half ago the news of its unavoidable birth came as a surprise to many and it was a dreaded news. I feared for its future though it wasnt even alive yet. But now, I think the situation is more stable and peace reigns supreme once again. Hopefully it doesnt become a teenage menace.

It still cries alot, has developed teeth (a few) and makes noises which one can guess as speech in baby language. Its getting uglier though, and thats quite tragic. Although its generally well liked, i feel that it and i were never in the best of terms. Even now we are’nt in the best of terms and i dont forsee a future where we will co-exist together. Some people are like oil while others are like water.

Anyway, even enemies get birthdays and even enemies are humans, so i would like to wish it many more good years ahead.

Recently I have become kinda interested in Thirukurals. I don’t really like the author but I like his works.
It gives off an aura of being able to play with the language. The kurals are equally as interesting as any of Confucius’ works. So today I would like to introduce one of my personal favourite kurals.
