The Black Hole

The Black Hole

I am fascinated by the outerspace. Its broad. I have been doing my own little research about black holes for a while now.

Loosely speaking, a black hole is a region of space that has so much mass concentrated in it that there is no way for a nearby object to escape its gravitational pull.

When a large star has burnt all its fuel it explodes into a supernova. The stuff that is left collapses down to an extremely dense object known as a neutron star. If the neutron star is too large, the gravitational forces overwhelm the pressure gradients and collapse cannot be halted. The neutron star continues to shrink until it finally becomes a black hole.

What i still cant get is by does a black hole pull everything inward. So strong till even light cannot escape it. Fascinating.

Cheers

Lord Voldemort
Visualised by archtomato On Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 4:55 Hrs | Minimum B.S.

It has been bugging me a while.

I am a avid and vivid and riveted hardcore fantasy reader. I read fantasy when im hungry, when i want to throw up and importantly, when i cannot find a reason for my exhaulted existence.

Well, there is this Lord Voldemort in the all too famous Harry potter series. And i think this guy is a serious cliche for a bad dude.

1. He exists outside death and his greatest foe is a short/lame dude – like Sauron from     Lotr

2. He is a sick bastard who has no frens and love torture – like darken Rahl from Sword     of truth series

3. He Knows more about anything more than anybody but fail to grasp simple concept –     Like Shaitaan from Wheel of time

So i say you, people of the book, who think this Lord Voldemort is scary and wonderful, i assure you, he is not. He is but a hastily and shabbily designed villian lifted off the imgaination of many others.

ps: The Hobbits is lord of the ring are the sickest people i know

Cheers

"Save the Tomato Campaign"
Visualised by archtomato On Monday, October 10, 2005 at 8:49 Hrs | Minimum B.S.

I was leafing thru today’s paper, and an interesting report caught my eye.

The Huang Na murder trial im sure has been well publicised and well documented

It seems that the many thousand dollars donated by the many thousand people here

is being used by Huang Na’s parents to build a third story to their 2 story apartment

Dumb singaporeans donating dumb money to some dumb couple and see what happens.

It seems to me that DUMB is the word of the week.

So i have decided to start my own cause. "Save the Tomato" campaign.

All citizens are encouraged to donate to this worthy cause. The local media will be informed of this event and you should be able to see the ads in papers, tv and radio by the time you read this article. Please donate so that i also can buy the flat next door.

Cheers

Emails

I just realise that Hotmail have increase the space for mails from 2MB to 250MB. Wow, thats alot of increase, now people store alot of emails and not worrying of it being over limit. Well, I don’t get that much of emails also. Just curious about what is to be done.

But nothing beats Gmail. It gives you 2GB of space. Hell you never have to delete another mail again, and the interface ot Gmail is fantastic. Simple yet elegent, Thats the way to go.

Currently my gmail states that:

You are currently using 19 MB (1%) of your 2652 MB.

This after nearly 1.5 yrs.

So If you are reading this and want your very own Gmail account. Just drop me a line and we can make it happen.

Cheers

Laughing at Gilded Butterflies

Archtomato works in the IT security industry and has managed to convince his bosses for the past 10 years that his best work is yet to come.

Archtomato is a coffee nut, a photographer without focus, a traveler who can't read maps, a diver who floats all too easily and a champion of world peace.

He is an avid practitioner of the dark side of the force; admires Chuck Norris, Paris Hilton and collects vintage Batman comics. Just like the Horizon, Time Dilation, Flying pigs, Tax Reliefs and possibly, the "Opposition", he believes he is more of a concept than a corporeal being.

Archtomato believes that the true nature of man is decided in the battle between the conscious mind and the desires of the subconscious and that the evil of man's subconscious is often too strong to resist. The only way to win is to deny it battle.

He now lives in a world of pollution, profanity, adolescence, smelly beavers, zits, herpes, broccoli, racism, ozone depletion, sexism, conscription, yellow bananas, stupid people, nightmares, dog whisperers,Gamma Ray Bursts, Nuke Baddies and sings badly but regularly in the bathroom.
