Rajini’s Shivaji !!!

I was reading off the newsgroups and movie news portals yesterday. I am an avid Rajinikanth fan, having seen his flicks all the way from the 80s. I never leave a chance to read more about Rajini.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found news about Rajini’s next mega venture, Shivaji. But my surprise turned sour too soon when I found a tragic news. I would like to share it with all fans. The movie’s heroine is gonna be a gal called Shreya. Some actress probably from Telugu Desam. This is one of the biggest mismatch ever. Poor casting there by the director.

But hey I aint the director and so I can’t do much. On a lighter note I also got wind of the story for the movie. Now folks, this is just a 80% confirmed rumor. As always there might be changes.

Shivaji is an Indian who’s residing abroad. He’s a celebrated educationalist. His passion is to offer world class education free to all in India. He invests all his personal wealth in creating high standard educational institutions in India. Corruption is a great hurdle in executing his plans. After surmounting all this and nearing the realization of his dreams, rival education institutions try to influence the govt to block Shivaji’s progress, but to no avail At that time, the opposition topples the govt.

This new govt orders Shivaji’s institutions to be razed to the ground. Shivaji has lost all his wealth in his ventures to realize his dreams, and how he single handedly fights the opposition is the climax of the film.

There are many story lines for Rajini’s film ‘Shivaji’ and what you have read now is only one of them. Kodambakkam believes that this is the storyline for which director Shankar is preparing his screenplay.
